1. Choose an art partnership listed in the Week 5 Lecture Notes or Week 5 Readings file titled "Art Partnerships" (e.g., Dorothea Tanning & Max Ernst) that you consider significant. Research the artists' lives. How would you describe the relationship? How did these partners support each other? Was it an equal partnership? What is the legacy of the partnership? (Cite your references.)
2. Attach an image of one of the artist's work that appeals to you. Integrate the idea of the image into your discussion of the partnership.
Part Two (5 points):
1. Describe the organizations and/or social media you belong to and how they are significant in your life (e.g., Facebook, fraternity, Computer Gamers, PTA).
2. Describe a "significant" family member, companion animal, friends, or someone in your work environment, etc. (This can be anything from the person who pays your tuition to the four legged, furry friend that welcomes you when you come home.) How do they support you?
3. Post how you let that person (or animal) know how much you appreciate whatever they do to enable you to do what you do (e.g., flowers? extra special Friskies?).
4. Explore a few specific professional organizations in your field of study or special interest. Describe their mission and why you might consider joining them in the future. For example, Week 5 lectures notes list the Oregon Cultural Trust, the Oregon Arts Commission, and the Oregon Alliance for Arts Education for those thinking about a career in the arts in Oregon.
